Fall 2010 Trends thus far ♥

Earth tone nail polish
+ now that's summer is over we are moving away from the pretty pastels and toward more soft yet earth tone colors for our nails

The Boyfriend Cardigan
+ A slouchy boyfriend cardigan. Wear it opened or buttoned up, goes great with skirts and skinny's and awesome knee high boots. This one is Tory Burch's simone boyfriend cardigan.

Flats that stand out
+I personally favor the colors, red , silver and metallic gold for this trend

Wedge Heel boots
+I'm a fan of the trend, but only if you do not over do the wedge heel size. This particular pair by Steve Madden are just the perfect size

Lace
+whether it be a dress, long sleeve, short sleeve, or tank top , the girly yet sexy lace look is in. Just do us all a favor and don't be too trashy.

Skinny Cargo Pants
+This particular pair is by J Brand jeans and has been out for quite some time now (maybe a few months) and now stores like Express ,Hollister & Co , and some others are picking up on the trend.

Plaid
+ I never thought I'd be so obsessed with plaid button down shirts, but I am. They give a polished look and you can wear them like Kristin , or a bit more casually.

Fashion's Night Out 2010

Last night was the second year for the biggest night of fashion & shopping, 'Fashion's Night Out! Last year the event made its debut with a night full of shopping, celebrities, entertainment, models and more all over the world. Different retailers chip in to create awesome exclusives, and the proceeds go to some form of charity. Last year the proceeds went to the 9/11 memorial, this year they went to AIDS.
Anyways last night my friend & I took a trip from Philly all the way to NYC for the event, I must say it was way more than I expected! We ran into models Chanel Iman & Adriana Lima , saw a performance by Janelle and were offered free goodies in different stores. This year was a practice run for us, next year were going back ready to blow every dime we have ♥

LookBook Inspiration week of 5/14

-Dead Hearts

no make up no fun

see ya later, alligator

I was drawn to the florals and feminine looks of these posts on lookbook.nu today. Florals have been a trend for the past year, even in winter and fall, and according to the June/July issue of Teen Vogue , the girly girl look is in, no more "badd girl"....makes me feel like a trendsetter ♥

Coach is Ready for the Summer ♥

Coach has recently released their beach collection that was created in collaboration with illustrator Pierre Le-Tan. I could not get pictures of all the pieces, but if you go to the site you will fall in love with a selection of shoes, clothing, bags and jewelry from this collection. When I viewed the website i got a french summer on the beach kind of feel, i think that's what made me love it even more! Here are just two of the bags from the collection :

FEED 3 ♥

The FEED foundation does it again with the FEED 3 bag aka FEED Guatemala. These bags come in different handmade by women in Guatemala out of traditional Ikat fabrics. I love that they take a different look from the previous FEED bags. The money from this bag will go to malnourished Latin American children. Out of all the FEED bags this one and the FEED 2 (Kenya) bag are my favs ♥

Look through your favorite magazines

Go Out for Some Sushi

Eat some chocolate (it always works)

Go Shopping with a friend

Go for a run or to the gym
